Ralph A. Bellizzi is the founder, President and Licensed Principal Broker of Aaron, Bell International. He is a Senior Managing Director with a 40-year history of mergers, acquisitions, diverse business ownership, and consulting experience. His transactions ranged in size from under $2 million to $420 million. In addition to mergers and acquisitions, his background includes strategic planning, business reorganization, and funding encompassing equity, loans, and leasing.
Mr. Bellizzi is a registered representative of Colorado Financial Service Corporation, an SEC registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. He holds Series 79 and Series 63 securities licenses. Mr. Bellizzi has owned and operated 18 privately-held companies and two public companies. He facilitated completing initial public offerings with four additional companies. He has consulted and/or negotiated with hundreds of businesses comprised of a diverse spectrum ranging from start-up to Fortune 100. Currently he is a principal in two businesses and an acquisitions fund.
Mr. Bellizzi was one of eight members selected to serve on the International Business Brokers Association Ethics Committee that developed IBBA's code of ethics for its 1,200 members. He is also a former Army Officer and Vietnam helicopter pilot.
Daniel M. Braiman is a Senior Managing Director and CFO of Aaron, Bell International. He is responsible for merger and acquisition transaction execution, corporate finance, and coordinating services between team members. He has negotiated or completed several hundred transactions ranging in value from under $2 million to $210 million.
Mr. Braiman is a registered representative of Colorado Financial Service Corporation, an SEC registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. He holds Series 79 and Series 63 securities licenses. Mr. Braiman has 29 years of experience in corporate finance, business development, business valuations, and commercial banking, including 14 years of experience in M&A. Mr. Braiman's experience also includes auditing and consulting on organizational structure, staffing levels and business process improvement. Mr. Braiman completed his undergraduate university education at Middlebury College in Vermont, earning a BA in Economics. He also holds an MBA degree in Finance from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration in Rochester, NY.
Tony McDonald is an Executive Vice President of SBS Group, Inc., an affiliate of Aaron, Bell International, Inc. SBS Group provides strategic consulting services in the areas of business optimization, finance, and exit planning. Mr. McDonald has over 25 years of experience as an operating executive, consultant, transaction originator and strategist. He has completed many transactions including sell-side and buy-side representations, private equity investments, and corporate finance investments.
Recently, Mr. McDonald was a senior executive team member for a clean tech company that was subsequently named one of Inc. Magazine's 600 fastest growing firms; he also advised the firm on a $15mm equity placement that was funded by a New York based green tech investment fund. Mr. McDonald was previously a member of KPMG's Financial Services Consulting practice where he advised national and international banks and financial service companies. He has also managed a $1 Billion portfolio of operating businesses and assets that included investments in technology, manufacturing, commercial aviation, and power development industries for Republic Financial Corporation.
Mr. McDonald received a BS degree in Engineering and Economics from the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. McDonald's military service included serving as a cavalry officer in the 10th U.S. Cavalry and as an analyst with Military Intelligence. He and his wife live in the Denver area with their 9 children.
Steven E. Scheinberg is a Managing Director of Aaron, Bell International. He is responsible for merger & acquisition transaction execution and financial advisory services, including business plan development for Clients. Mr. Scheinberg is a registered representative of Colorado Financial Service Corporation, an SEC registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. He holds a Series 79 securities license. Mr. Scheinberg is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida.
Mr. Scheinberg has over 25 years of investment banking and securities research experience, including serving as VP and Director of Municipal Bond Research at Shearson American Express and Senior VP and Director of Research at S.D. Cohn & Company.
Mr. Scheinberg also served as a Managing Director at Cambridge Capital Holdings, LLC, Senior Managing Director and Principal at RGS Capital Advisors and a Partner at Robert Sheridan & Partners. To date Mr. Scheinberg has completed approximately 50 transactions ranging in value from over $2,000,000 to in excess of $165,000,000.
Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Scheinberg was an Economist for the Connecticut General Assembly and was awarded a Citation for Meritorious Service that was sponsored by Senator Joseph Lieberman. Mr. Scheinberg is a co-author of "The Fundamentals of Municipal Bonds", published by Dow Jones-Irwin in 1983 and still in print. He is also a frequent contributor to a variety of finance and real estate magazines. Mr. Scheinberg has a BA and an MA in Economics from the University of Connecticut where he was President of the Economic Honor Society. Mr. Scheinberg has been listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in Finance.
Diana Mauricio is a Business Development Manager of SBS Group, Inc., an affiliate of Aaron, Bell International, Inc. SBS Group provides strategic consulting services in the areas of business optimization, finance, and exit planning.
Ms. Mauricio has specialized in sales management and sales for the past 15 years in southern California. She managed or directed a team of sales people consisting of 82 sales personnel for three years and recruited over 132 sales people from the Inland Empire. Ms. Mauricio graduated from the University of Riverside with a specialization in Psychology.
Lindsay Flemming is the Senior Marketing Manager of Aaron, Bell International. She is responsible for national and international marketing. She specializes in public relations, social media, and has over 15 years experience in the advertising industry. Lindsay began her career with a Fortune 500 company and executed strategic marketing tactics to enhance the company's brand. Lindsay Flemming joined ABI after serving as the Vice President of a high-profiled entertainment magazine in southern California. Her experience includes online product development campaigns, enhancing the exposure of ecommerce platforms through advertisement generation and implementing marketing strategies to keep her clients competitive in an ever-changing economic climate.
Ms. Flemming completed her graduate degree in Communication with a Specialization in Interactional Studies, at San Diego State University.
Emmett E. Duemke is a Managing Director of Aaron, Bell International. Mr. Duemke is responsible for mid-market merger and acquisitions. He specializes in retail, distribution and manufacturing industries, and has 38 years of experience in all phases of the retail trade. Mr. Duemke began his career with a Fortune 500 company. He capped his 20-year retail career as a Regional Manager responsible for a ten-state region and 2,300 employees. After retiring, he acquired a retail business and facilitated its growth by 500%, transforming a one-location facility into a regional retail chain.
Mr. Duemke completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Texas Christian University located in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Duemke is a former Officer of the United States Air Force.
Richard L. Winter is an independent affiliate of Aaron, Bell International. Mr. Winter has a 25-year history as a lead intermediary in mergers, acquisitions, and business sales. He has negotiated with or completed several hundred transactions ranging in value from under $2 million to over $45 million. Prior to his M&A industry experience he was a chief financial officer in three companies, managing budgets from $30 - $70 million. Mr. Winter's operating expertise encompasses management, finance, marketing, and two turnarounds. He personally acquired, expanded, and sold several companies; therefore, he understands both buy-side and sell-side issues from the owner's perspective.
His broad-based knowledge and experience have enabled Mr. Winter to provide services as an expert witness in court for business valuation and other related issues. He has authored two business/financial books and provided M&A industry training for over 200 new and experienced intermediaries. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois with a Degree in Accountancy and attended UCLA in post-graduate studies. He served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy with three tours of duty in Vietnam.
David Swan is an independent affiliate of Aaron, Bell International. He is the founder and President of Human Resource Consulting Solutions, LLC (HRCS). Mr. Swan is a highly skilled human resource executive with experience in a variety of organizations and industry environments. Prior to forming HRCS in 2002, he held the top human resource and labor relations position in several major national and international companies, both public and privately held. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources for Leprino Foods Company, a $2 billion Colorado Corporation, with manufacturing, distribution and transportation facilities throughout the U.S. and in Europe. Mr. Swan was employed previously with The Susquehanna Corporation, American Television and Communications (Time-Warner), Stone & Webster Engineering & Management Consulting, and a division of Allied Stores.
Mr. Swan completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and has attended Boston College, Northeastern University, and the University of Minnesota, for post-graduate studies.
